The 12 weavers decided to group together with the purpose of fighting poverty and improving the quality of life using their skilled hands. They now have electricity in their homes and they can afford health insurance and other basic needs because of their income from Azizi Life. Ababerarugo also boosts the community spirit when they employ their neighbors during busy seasons of weaving. Ababerarugo makes bowls, trivets and tassels.

Weaving is like creating – it is a mind refresher which gives everyone an opportunity to think more.
