How To Style Your Empty Wall With Bowls

Whether you just moved into a brand new house, or you have been in a place for awhile, one of the hardest decisions to make is sometimes how to decorate the walls! It’s easier to decide where you want the couch in relation to the tv or complementary chairs. And it may even be simple to hang a proportionate mirror or picture frame about a dresser or armoire. But what about the seemingly vast spaces on the walls of your home? Do you break up the space with a picture gallery? What if there’s already one on a neighboring wall? There isn’t any major rule of thumb that you need to watch out for, but we want to show you how you can decorate a wall that is eye catching, different, and can be a vocal point to a room that otherwise has a question mark as a blank canvas wall. 

First, you will need to decide what bowls you like. We have small, medium, and even trays that can be mixed and matched. Depending on the size of your space you can do a pair, trio, or multiple bowls. And depending on your style, there is something for everyone. Now you might be thinking, “How do I hang a bowl on a wall?” Well, our artisan partners have designed each bowl and tray to have a hook on the back, making it very easy for you to hang up. Our best tip before nailing anything into the wall is lay out your collection on the floor. Try setting them up different ways to really get a good picture at how you may want them to hang on the wall! 

From there, you can hold up to the wall and make little marks where the nail should be placed based on where the hook is. It’s a fairly simple process and from the photos pictured here, you can envision anything from a small space to a large wall making use of hanging bowls.
