Prayer Update – February 2019

‘But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them, so that those who love your name may exult in you’. Psalm 5:11

  • Please pray that the Ebola outbreak in certain areas of the Democratic Republic of the Congo will be contained and eradicated, and for the safety of Rwandans near the border of Goma.

  • We praise God that the Multiply Project is off to a good start!
  • We also celebrate that, thanks to generous donors and the Giving Tuesday matching grant from Facebook/ PayPal, our new fundraising total is $37,160 towards our goal of $50,000.
  • Please ask for renewed relationships with past customers and connections, so that the artisans can provide products to each of these retailers in 2019.
  • We are seeking 50 new wholesale relationships in 2019.  Please ask God for guidance and open doors.
  • We would like to connect with people online who have audiences with whom they would like to share Azizi Life.  We praise God for some new connections and pray that God will amplify our voice and extend our reach.

  • We pray for more orders and more customers to boost artisan incomes, as well as increased availability of raw materials for products.

  • Praise the Lord that Aime Ndikumwenayo (I am with  God) has joined the Craft Team as a new staff. Please pray for her strength and skills for packaging of all Azizi Life Products.
  • Please pray for a new home for Azizi Life. We are still struggling to find the right place but we have a team from Johns Hopkins University arriving in a couple of weeks to help us with the building project.

  • We praise God for a good start to the year and pray that we will get more visitors so that hosts will continue to positively benefit from this source of income.

  • Please pray for a constructive meeting with potential new beeswax suppliers in Akagera National Park, as well as new places to sell products in high-end tourist destinations there.
  • We ask God for more sales at the Kigali artisans and farmers market this Saturday.

  • We praise the Lord that we have started our third year of the Adult Literacy program. Pray for our teachers and students.
